General Marshall has ordered the city destroyed. Rescue survivors and bring them back to the police station to prove it can still be saved. The more lives you rescue, the higher your score. Good luck, Officer.
Dead Patrol is an arcade-style zombie rescue game set in a doomed city called Willard. Drive through the streets, pick up survivors, and bring them back to the police station before time runs out. Nice idea for a game. But definitely needs either a mini-map or a city map that you can open on command. Also hitting a zombie going at speed feels like running into a stone pillar. I would work on the physics of the collision as well.
Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/@Levont
Thank you very much. After thinking about it for a while, I thought it would be a good idea to refine the helicopter sound and add landmarks to different areas to make them more recognizable, or at least an identifier at the bottom of the screen like when you entered a new area in the classic GTA games. The idea behind refining the helicopter sound would be so the player can hear where it's coming from. I'll definitely share my thoughts on it when it doesn't work. If it doesn't, I might opt for a compass or a map, but without indicating the exact location, perhaps more like radios for potential help. I also had some issues with running over enemies; I had mapped it so that at a certain speed you could just drive right through them without a problem, but I forgot. I've been optimizing the game these past few days and I've gained about 20 extra fps.
cool but so hard think need map
Thank you so much for playing my games, I'll keep that in mind and look for solutions to help with map navigation.
I'll also check why your build shows up with light colors on your screen; mine was dark for some reason :( and I had to adjust all the colors accordingly. Thanks, because this helps me a lot in figuring out what might be causing it.
